性狀：落葉喬木，幹具短刺。掌狀複葉，小葉
5-7 枚，長橢圓撞倒披針形，細鋸齒緣。花
腋生，淡紫紅色，每花具 2-3 小苞；萼杯狀，2
-5齒；花瓣 5，長橢圓形；雄蕊合生成筒狀， 5
裂；子房上位。蒴果橢圓形；種子具綿毛。

用途：觀賞、行道樹。
